Launching from a style that rests firmly on a foundation of basic hard rock and blues, AT/DT ventures off into vast territory that encompasses up-tempo punk-pop ("Firefighter," "Interesting," "Baby's Back Seat"), spoof-rock and ballads ("Internet Girl," "Friends (With Benefits)," "Silent Treatment," "Space Lesbians"), and in-your-face heaviness ("Bar Fight," "Rock 4 The People," "Pink Is Back," "V"). As quick as they'll vocalize harmony together in Beatles-esque fashion, they'll turn around and rip out a riff-based rock jam their childhood influences would be proud of.
AT/DT embraces an "anything goes" philosophy, retaining the lone stipulation that writing and performing must simply be "fun." Still, the band evokes a curious tone when claiming they endure in order to "bring the rock to the people."
