On Tracy Lane
After 3 cities, 3 EPs, 3 music videos , opening for national acts, their music licensed to several TV shows, over 1 million plays and views on MySpace with over 130,000 friends and climbing, featured in Radio & Records trade magazine, recently touring in Greenland to play for the US troops, etc....On Tracy Lane has finally arrived. Originating in Los Angeles in 2003, OTL did a music video in 2004 with Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Party of Five) to get the wheels turning. After many shows on the West Coast, the band relocated to St. Louis, MO in 2005 and released The OTL EP. The CD has sold 20,000 copies worldwide without any financial backing. This release was also the music and marketing that would lead to OTL being one of the biggest acts on MySpace. The band played all over the Midwest, opening for many national acts including Avril Lavigne and Butch Walker.
