David Edwards has always enjoyed writing. He has been writing since he was a kid. He loves entertaining and originally had set out to be a standup comedian. David was born in Kennett, MO around the same time as pop star and songwriter Sheryl Crow was born. He has always enjoyed being the center of attention and peforming in front of people. At an early age, family and friends thought he would be destined for a life in the entertainment business. However, in 1992, David opened the Professional Bartending School of Nashville and his path in life changed dramatically. David has been very successful in the bartending school business. The Nashville campus has been the National School of the Year 10 out of 16 years since it opened.
David recently woke up in his business world and realized that he loved to write and had always had a talent for being creative. Years ago he registered the domain name nashvillesongwriting.com and many other songwriting domain names knowing that someday he would start writing songs and pursue a songwriting career when the time was right. Well the time is now!
David is the President of Songwriting Media, Inc. and has devoted his time and efforts to promote not only his songwriting but songwriters and artists around the world. He has always been an entrepreneur and having a chance to mix his love for entertainment and music with a company who's mission is to help and promote songwriters and artists worldwide is a dream come true.
