I am a fan of subtlety. I find that a lot of current popular music lacks mystery, innuendo, romance, wit, honesty, and finesse. I want albums to be at the least compelling. I hope my album will be accepted by the open minded, panned by the closed minded. but I have a feeling it will be secretly adored by industry insiders. Why? Because, everyone wants to work with groundbreaking artists during their tenure, but most do not have the leeway to take such risks. Independent mavericks pave the way!

I have no interest in repeating myself. Once I have explored an angle to it's fullest I tend to lose interest. I am a glutton for emotion and a slave to sensation. I want to bask in all of the decadence that life has to offer all of my sixteen senses. love it - live it - pass it on.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, James’ musical pursuits brought him to Nashville with only $20 in his pocket. While his car broke down on the road, he was determined to overcome all obstacles and follow his dreams. He has a passion for songwriting and has been writing since he was 13 years old. James is often noted for his compassion towards others. His music is not just about him, but about touching and healing others. A few years after he came to town he facilitated a Writers Night to benefit a little girl who had Cystic Fibrosis.

Today he still lends a helping hand to those in need. His high energy Writers Nights landed him an exclusive writing deal at Laurelwood Entertainment. He is so grateful that Wes Mayer and Buzz Stone believed in him. He has shared the pen with 20 major artists, and has co-written with over 500 writers. He has written on songs with very talented writers and producers such as Keith Floyd (After 7-Babyface produced them); Big Vinny from Trailor Choir (Toby Keith is producing them); and Chuck Howard who produced Leann Rimes' first 6 albums. Hit writer Kostas His extensive musical background also includes writing with Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, Craig Morgan, and many other talented artists and songwriters, including 6 Number 1 Songwriters of the Year, which include Craig Wiseman who wrote "Live Like You're Dying" for Tim McGraw & "I Believe" for Brooks & Dunn; Tia Sellers wrote "I Hope You Dance" for Leann Womack; Danny Wells & Dana Oglesby wrote "Check Yes or No" for George Strait; Eddie Kilgallon wrote "One Night at a Time" for George Strait, & Brett James wrote "Jesus Take the Wheel" for Carrie Underwood.

Hey there, Thanks so much for checking out my music. Let me tell you a little about myself. I LOVE MUSIC!! I am a 19-year-old singer/songwriter/musician currently majoring in Country Music. I have some awesome teachers that are helping me cultivate my love of country music. I started singing in church at the age of 2 ..... and haven't stopped!! Jesus and my family have always been by my side and my number 1 supporters. God has blessed me abundantly. He is the reason I am able to sing, write my own songs, and play the guitar. With Him, nothing shall be impossible. After college, my dream is to make Nashville my home and continue the journey down the country music path. I have had the privilege of making friends with fellow songwriters and the opportunity to work with publishers in Nashville. Lord willing, He will continue to open doors as He leads the way. Thanks again for visiting and please feel free to comment or message me!! XOX ((All music is original. Written/composed/and sung by me! (C) 2009 Lindsey Clontz))

David Edwards saw Tyrone live recently, and this what he had to say..

In my opinion it’s fitting that I saved the best for the last. As I sat an watched Tyrone Carreker on stage I kept wondering how is this guy not a major star or why has he not been signed to any type of major deal. He has the soul of Keb Mo and Craig David, the guitar laced melodies of James Taylor, and the coolness of Jack Johnson. Dressed in his sweater and a Bing Crosby style hat, he is a forced to be reckoned with on stage.

His voice is silky smooth, great smile, and his finger picking and mastery of the guitar had me doing a reality check to make sure I really wasn’t in Los Angeles catching the next big thing in the pop world. Tyrone pound for pound is one of the best songwriters I’ve caught live in Nashville in awhile and I’ve attended many events with some of the top hit songwriters in town performing.
