Kiko's performance is integrated with live and programmed beats, atmospheric sounds, recently seeing Ani performing with live ableton software on her laptop and using vocal effects on the Kaos Pad. Ani continues to work flexibly with a range of artists that play double bass, trumpet, guitar and djembe that give texture to the electronic beats and atmospheres, supporting her sassy and heartfelt vocals, producing an edgy mix of cool jazz with deep electronica. Ani recorded the latest EP "Opening" which guest starred her father, Jiri Neradilek, with his powerful horn lines making much of the KIKO sound nice and raw. Kiko's ability to mesh electronic samples/beats and acoustic jazz as part of a live performance means the band will always continue to push the boundaries of genre-bending.
Just some of the events Kiko has performed at are: Peats Ridge, Bondi Winter festival, Bondi Street festival, Surry Hills festival, Mind Boby Spirit Festivals, Will & Toby’s, Vanguard, The International Harmony Film festival and Bondi Bohemia festival. Kiko’s music has featured on compilation albums by Mars Hill Cafe and Bondi Music Festival Artists, The Sydney Opera Bar and Artichoke Cafe.
